Giving back
At Capstone, we love to support communities near and far. This is achieved in different ways including volunteer days, raising money for charity, sponsoring community initiatives and pro bono recruitment. We love coming together to make an impact beyond our business. We currently sponsor two youth football team; one in Kenya www.vipingovillagefund.org and one in the UK, we have made a number of pro bono placements to charities in the UK, offering our talent acquisition services without charge. We allow the team to take volunteer days as required in order to support their own charitable passions.
Celebrating team diversity
We put diversity and inclusion at the forefront of our internal hiring strategy. Alongside being a 50:50 male and female represented company, we are also focused on ensuring a BAME-inclusive team. According to a 2020 REC report, BAME representation in the UK recruitment industry was put at around 15%. We are proud to be above that average with 20% of our team being made up of BAME talent. That being said, we are always striving to improve our representation further, this is a core focus in our People strategy. Our team’s background is broad. Our talent is underpinned by expert surveyors, project managers, cost managers, teachers, sales and marketing managers, and professional sports people. This makes for a brilliantly eclectic and knowledgeable range of colleagues.
