Salary: $125,000-$150,000 + annual bonus
Our client is seeking a Cost Manager or Senior Cost Manager to join a leading real estate development firm in West Palm Beach, FL. This role is based in the company’s growing South Florida office. The firm specializes in large-scale commercial office, residential, and hospitality developments.
Position Overview
This role will act as an intermediary between development, construction, accounting, and legal teams to produce financial and cost reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with established cost management processes.
- Handle weekly and monthly cost reporting for internal leadership, external partners, lenders, and tenants.
- Work with project and development managers to structure cost codes from estimates/proformas for effective tracking.
- Maintain cost structures, including transfers, new cost codes, and budget tracking.
- Analyze and report on budgets, including tracking procurement, contingencies, and holds.
- Oversee change event tracking for hard and soft costs.
- Prepare cost analysis, cash flow forecasts, and procurement tracking.
- Support contract close-out processes and ensure cost data is accurately incorporated.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 3-5+ years in cost management, ideally within commercial office, large-scale residential, or hospitality sectors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong ability to collaborate across teams and manage cost processes efficiently.
- Ability to be in office 5 days a week
