Salary: $130K - $155K + 20 Days PTO + 401(K) + Health + Vision + Dental

Capstone are working in partnership with one of the worlds renowned independent Cost & Project Management consultancies to acquire a Senior Cost Manager on a major Data Center project based in the State of Oklahoma.

Our client is well known in the industry for their technical excellence, prolific schemes, highly trained individuals and project and service delivery. This organisation ensures they remain leaders in the field, continually investing in the development of their people through lifelong learning and structured training.

The organisation is currently thriving across the USA with multiple office locations and working on several prolific, large-scale and flagship schemes. Due to their current success and future pipeline they are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Manager to assist in the delivery of various schemes; becoming an integral part of this organisations long term success and growth.

The Role:

As a Senior Cost Manager you will be working as the Lead Cost Manager and working closely with the end user client on their projects. The organisation has a mantra of building and maintaining relationships and so your role will involve extensive client interaction and thus your interpersonal skills and presentation are key.

You will be working with extremely experienced and knowledgeable individuals on some of the USA's greatest schemes and thus this opportunity is second to none.

Roles / Responsibilities

• Prepare budget estimates and present to leadership to establish project budgets.
• Preparation of RFPs, advise on procurementfor manage general contractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Bid and Quote evaluations, review clarifications, contract negotiations, PO management and invoice reviews.
• Post contract cost control including payment application reviews, change order management and negotiation and contract administration.
• Preparation and presentation of project cost reporting, cash flow forecasts, risk and contingency registers
• Value for money assessment of all cost components
• Continues evaluation of potential cost impacts
• Set out to achieve Value Engineering targets

• Monitor and update budget and facilitate budget approvals

• Preparation and agreement of financial project close out.
• Implementation of cost management best practises tailored to the clients needs.
• Regular attendance of client and project meetings, site progress walks and safety walks.

About you:

You will be an energetic, motivated Senior Cost Manager/ Quantity Surveyor who is ambitious, open to exciting and new opportunities, while having a proven track record as an exceptional Cost Manager with the technical ability to continuously produce a quality service.
