Role: Project Manager - Interiors Construction
Location: New York City, NY
Salary: Up to $165,000 + bonus + shares scheme + extensive company benefits

Capstone Americas is partnering with a longstanding client and leading mid-sized general contracting firm, widely regarded as one of the top GCs in the New York market. This firm has earned an exceptional reputation for delivering high-quality projects and has built strong partnerships with several Fortune 500 clients across the hospitality, retail, technology, luxury, and grocery sectors.

With a robust project pipeline and continued growth, our client is seeking to expand their Project Management team in New York City.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in hospitality project construction within a general contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the construction of high-end hospitality projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
• Oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and client coordination.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
• Manage buyout processes, contract negotiations, and leveling of trades.
• Drive project milestones and ensure adherence to tight schedules.
• Utilize Procore or similar software for RFI processing, document management, and reporting.
• Maintain financial accountability and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Construction Project Management experience, with a strong preference for hospitality project expertise.
• Proven success in managing luxury hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience as the sole lead on projects ranging from $2M-$5M.
• OSHA-30 certification preferred.
• Strong skills in scheduling, document management, financial oversight, and trade coordination.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead client meetings effectively.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and currently reside in the United States.
• Experience in the New York City market is highly desirable.
