Our client is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join their growing Dallas office. This role focuses on delivering best-in-class cost management services for a finance sector client. As an integral part of a firm still in its early stages, this position offers the unique opportunity to influence the organization's trajectory and progress rapidly within the company.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract Documents in line with company standards.
  • Lead cost meetings and manage associated administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with contractors on cost reports, track planned vs. actual costs, manage changes and variations, and resolve disputes.
  • Utilize and maintain project management platforms to effectively manage cost-related issues.
  • Work closely with project managers during construction to evaluate provisional sums and CDP schedules, ensuring accurate updates are shared with stakeholders.
  • Perform monthly valuations, contribute to the preparation of final accounts, and manage change requests under senior review.
  • Prepare and deliver required monthly reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
  • Expertise in corporate interiors and commercial projects, with specific experience in finance sector projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural principles.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Experience with pre- and post-contract services.
  • U.S. citizenship, transferable work authorization, or eligibility for an E2/E3 visa.
