Role: Senior Project Manager - Interiors Construction, Retail Projects
Location: New York City, NY
Salary: $165,000 - $200,000 + 20% bonus + shares scheme + extensive company benefits

Capstone Americas is partnering with a longstanding client and leading mid-sized general contracting firm, widely regarded as one of the top GCs in the New York market. This firm has recently been recognized as the premier GC in the retail construction sector and maintains long-standing partnerships with several Fortune 500 clients across retail, technology, hospitality, luxury, and grocery sectors.

With an outstanding reputation and an impressive project pipeline, our client continues to grow and is seeking to expand their Senior Project Management team in New York City.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in retail project construction within a general contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple, concurrent high-profile retail projects, ranging from $5M-$15M.
• Lead all aspects of project delivery, including pre-construction, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key retail clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
• Mentor and manage project teams, ensuring project goals are met efficiently.
• Maintain financial accountability, manage buyout processes, and negotiate contracts with trades.
• Utilize Procore or similar technology for RFI processing, document management, and reporting.
• Drive scheduling and coordination to meet tight deadlines for fast-paced retail projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Construction Project Management experience, with significant expertise in retail interiors or similar fast-track projects.
• Proven success in leading fast-paced projects with durations of 12-16 weeks.
• Experience delivering projects in the New York City market is strongly preferred.
• OSHA-30 certification preferred.
• Proficiency in creating RFIs, buyouts, scheduling, and financial management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively lead client meetings and drive results.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen/Green Card Holder and currently reside in the United States.
• Must have York York experience.
