Senior Estimator

Location: New York

Salary: Up to $150,000 + Package

We are working with an expanding Owner's Representative Cost Consultancy based in New York that has rapidly grown and opened offices across the U.S. This organization has enjoyed early success due to its strong relationships with leading blue-chip companies. Known for its dynamic culture, similar to the high-tech firms it works closely with, this firm has owners who are hands-on and determined to become one of the top Cost Management companies in the U.S.

Our client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their New York office. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company, with the potential to quickly advance and perform at a high level in a leadership role.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and manage the execution of estimates for various projects.
• Prepare and maintain Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract Documentation in line with the company's standards.
• Lead cost-related meetings and communicate with contractors regarding budgets, changes, and variations.
• Review and update cost-related platforms to ensure seamless communication and tracking.
• Collaborate with the project team to assess provisional sums and manage schedules, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected.
• Conduct monthly project reviews and assist with final account preparations.
• Manage change requests and ensure that reports are completed on time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction cost estimation, with a focus on complex infrastructure or large-scale commercial projects.
• In-depth understanding of construction principles, engineering, and contracts.
• Strong project leadership, communication, and management skills.
• Extensive pre and post-contract experience.
• U.S. citizenship or the right to work in the U.S. (E2 or E3 visa eligibility also considered).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost management platforms.
