We are partnering with a highly regarded, global Owner's Representative firm to recruit a talented Junior Cost Manager for their growing team in Chicago. This consultancy is known for delivering exceptional project management, cost management, and consultancy services across a wide range of sectors, including real estate and infrastructure.

Position Overview: As a Junior Cost Manager, you will assist in managing project costs from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for construction and real estate to gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
• Assist in reviewing tender documents, contracts, and cost proposals.
• Work closely with senior cost managers to monitor and control project expenditures.
• Conduct cost analysis and help evaluate project risks to ensure project goals are met.
• Provide regular financial updates and reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in value engineering exercises and cost-saving initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in cost management, estimating, project controls, or project accounting.
• Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with cost management software is a plus.
• Enthusiastic, driven, and eager to build a career in cost management.
