Position: Assistant Cost Manager
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $80,000-110,000 + Extensive Company Benefits Package + Bonus

Capstone is partnering with a prestigious independent construction and property consultancy to recruit a motivated Assistant Cost Manager for their New York office. About the Role:

As an Assistant Cost Manager, you will support the Senior Cost Managers in delivering high-quality projects across New York City. You will be involved in both pre and post-contract stages, working on a variety of multi-million dollar construction projects across different sectors. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
• Conducting cost analysis and preparing cost reports
• Supporting the management of project finances, including cash flow and expenditure tracking
• Participating in client meetings and presentations
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and successful project delivery

Skills and Experience:

• Degree qualified, preferably in a construction-related discipline
• Relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying, preferably in the United States
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in cost management software and MS Office suite
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
