Position: Associate Director – Cost Management (Remote, Central U.S.)
Salary: Up to $180,000 + Bonus + Extensive Company Benefits Package
Location Requirement: Remote role, but candidates must be based in the Central U.S. region due to regular travel to data center project sites in Texas


Capstone is partnering with a world-renowned, independent construction and property consultancy to hire a high-caliber Associate Director or top-tier Senior Cost Manager ready to take the next step. This is a rare opportunity to join their mission-critical team, supporting large-scale data center campus developments across Texas.


You will work closely with a well-established Director, acting as their second-in-command on complex, high-value projects, while helping to lead delivery, manage client relationships, and drive commercial strategy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost management services across pre- and post-contract phases
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Build strong client relationships and provide strategic commercial advice
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional service across large, mission-critical construction projects
  • Act as a key liaison between the Director and project stakeholders


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline
  • MRICS (or equivalent) preferred
  • Extensive experience delivering cost management services on complex, multi-million-dollar projects in the U.S.
  • Data center or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable
  • Proven leadership and client management abilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative, proactive mindset


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be based in the Central U.S. (e.g. Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Texas-based data center project sites
  • Must have work authorization in the U.S. (US Citizen, Green Card, or valid E2/E3 Visa)
