Position Overview:
As a Senior Cost Manager, you will lead cost management efforts on large-scale projects, ensuring financial control, risk mitigation, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost estimating, budgeting, and financial reporting across multiple projects.
- Oversee tender reviews, contract negotiations, and procurement strategies.
- Provide cost management expertise throughout the project lifecycle to optimize budgets.
- Conduct risk assessments and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams to drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
- Serve as a key client liaison, delivering high-level financial insights and recommendations.
- Mentor and guide junior cost managers, fostering team growth and development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cost management, estimating, or project controls.
- Proven track record of delivering cost management services on complex projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Sage, Procore) and advanced MS Excel skills.
